Tina and Anastasija, who had also won the EuroBeachVolley back in 2019, triumphed in the second edition of the tournament, held in Luxembourg, joining Germans Karla Borger and Chantal Laboureur, the winners of the inaugural Queen & King of the Court European Finals, held in 2022.

“It was a very tense tournament, especially the final and the last round. But we had some very good moments with our blocking and defense. We fought for every point, we always believed we could win and it happened. It was a great tournament for us and the atmosphere was amazing, so we’re really happy.”

After finishing third in the first two rounds of the final, the Tokyo Olympians stood at the top in the third and decisive one, getting to 11 points and overcoming Poland’s Jagoda Gruszczynska and Aleksandra Wachowicz (ten points) and Germans Cinja Tillman and Svenja Müller (seven).

Also appearing in the final of the five-day event in Luxembourg were Germans Laura Ludwig and Louisa Lippmann, who finished fourth, and Austrians Dorina and Ronja Klinger, who were fifth.
