The club season has just ended and yet it is already time to compose the rosters for the 2026/2027 campaign. A. Carraro Prosecco DOC CONEGLIANO, recently crowned Italian national champions for a ninth time and bronze medal winners from the elite CEV Champions League Volley, have confirmed that their star setter Joanna ‘Asia’ Wolosz will spend a tenth season with the team. She is the player with the second longest career span in the ranks of the ‘Panthers’ after libero Monica De Gennaro. She also ranks second among foreign-born players for the number of caps (386) collected in the Italian national league – behind Romania’s Carmen Turlea (545).

This past season, Wolosz played 51 matches and 173 sets for CONEGLIANO, securing the award for the ‘Best Setter’ at the #CLVolleyW Final Four in Istanbul. She is also the long-time captain of the ‘Panthers’.

“I am happy to continue my journey with the club and I would like to thank the leadership for their trust,” Wolosz said. “This club has become my family and I am happy and proud to be wearing the shirt for another season where we will be chasing further successes. Being the captain is a responsibility that I take with both pride and pleasure – especially since it allows me to represent such passionate fans. We finished the last season with some regrets but for this same reason we will start working as of August with even more fire within. I already miss Conegliano and the fans and cannot wait to return to Palaverde. The fans will welcome us with open arms and this will provide us with an extra boost of motivation for the first few weeks of the new season. You never get tired of winning and I look forward to sharing more such moments with our supporters.”

With 413 matches and 1,400+ sets played for Conegliano, Wolosz has claimed 28 trophies with the club: 8 national league titles, 7 Italian Cups, 7 Supercups, 3 Club World Championships and just as many titles in the elite CEV Champions League Volley (2021, 2024, and 2025).
