It was a quite successful season for CEV Champions League Volley squads in their domestic leagues: The winners of the national championships came clear, and the CEV Champions League Volley teams once again took the top standings and the trophy in their countries.

Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kedzierzyn-Kozle, who defended their CEV Champions League Volley title, also had a good season in Polish PlusLiga. After finishing the main phase on top, they defeated their opponents in successive rounds and advanced to the final. In the final round, they met the other CEV Champions League Volley squad, Jastrzebski Wegiel, and ZAKSA became the new champions of Poland by winning the series by 3-1.

Two CEV Champions League Volley clubs faced off in Italy's final round: the teams that finished the preliminary round in the top two positions, Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia and Cucine Lube Civitanova, took the court against each other to get the title. After a four-match final series, the Lube side won the season and took their third consecutive championship.

Another final series between two CEV Champions League Volley teams was held in Germany. Berlin Recycling Volleys and VfB Friedrichshafen fought quite hard, and there was an immense battle throughout the series: However, in the fifth and the last fight, the BR Volleys side defeated their rivals by 3-1 and took their sixth title in a row.
