This weekend, the most elite teams of the continent will take the court in their national competitions, before the upcoming sixth and last round of the #CLVolleyW group stage. The most anticipated clash will surely be held in Italy between the country's top two squads, and Polish #CLVolleyW contenders seek to advance to the semifinals in national cup.

Without a doubt, all eyes will be on Italy, where two CEV Champions League Volley participants, A. Carraro Imoco Volley Conegliano and Savino Del Bene Scandicci will take the court against each other in the 19th round of the Italian Serie A1. The defending champion Conegliano side is currently at the top of the standings with a perfect record, and by collecting all 51 points in the previous 17 games, they have a six-point gap with their closest follower. Scandicci side, the team stands at the vice-leader position, has 15 victories so far and they have 45 points in total. The result of this huge battle will not change the standings in the top two, but of course, both teams will put a great effort into the court to defeat their biggest opponent and take a mental advantage over each other.

Another important match worth following will be played in Poland, where the top teams of the country will aim to book their tickets in the Polish Cup semifinals. All three CEV Champions League Volley clubs will also be there: At first, PGE Grot Budowlani Lodz will meet LKS Commercecon Lodz to advance to the next round. Then, on Saturday, Developres Rzeszow and BKS Bostik Bielsko-Biala will try to complete the spots in the semifinals. Bielsko-Biala reached the trophy in the previous edition, so it is important for them to repeat this huge success. Being aware of this, among all teams, the Bielsko-Biala side also try to play their best game.

In addition, it will be a good idea to keep an eye on France this weekend: The CEV Champions League Volley participant Levallois Paris Saint Cloud will have an important task to do: They will host Vandoeuvre in the 17th leg of the French Ligue A. The Paris team is currently in fifth position with 11 wins and 32 points while their rival is leading the charts with 36 points. The top five teams are very close to each other, therefore, the result of this match might have a huge impact on the overall standings.

The group stage of the #CLVolleyW will be completed next week, and the top squads of Europe will now fully focus on their domestic battles. In Italy, the two #CLVolleyW teams will face off, and Paris’s goal will be to defeat the leaders to close the gap in France. At the same time, Polish powerhouses will aim to advance to the next stage in the domestic cup. We will see what the weekend brings.
