Estonian champions progress to #CEVCupM 8th Finals

Selver x Taltech TALLINN have secured a spot in the 8th Finals of the #CEVCupM with a convincing 3-1 victory over C.S. Rapid BUCURESTI in the re-match of a fixture featuring teams from the capital cities of Estonia and Romania.

The first set was closely contested, with the Romanian side edging out the Estonians in a thrilling finish (26-24). However, repeating the scenario from the first leg in Tallinn, Selver x Taltech regained their composure and fought back strongly. Despite the setback they had suffered in the opening set, the Estonian team came into the next sets with renewed determination.

The only real challenge they faced came in the fourth set, when they were already assured of qualification. Despite trailing by as much as 10 points, the visitors mounted a remarkable comeback and won the set 28-26, sealing the game with the same scoreline as in the first leg: 3-1.

With this win, Selver x Taltech TALLINN has advanced to the next stage of the competition, where they will now wait to find out the name of their next opponent from the upcoming duel between Vojvodina NOVI SAD (SRB) and CSM Corona BRASOV (ROU).
