As the surprise result in the Italian Women's Superleague this week has changed the circumstances in European volleyball, everyone's eyes will be firstly on Italy this weekend.

The defending CEV Champions League Volley titleholder A. Carraro Imoco Volley Conegliano will host Wealth Planet Perugia Volley in the tenth round of the Italy Women's Superleague.

Losing 3-2 to Il Bisonte Firenze, Imoco, the owner of the World record with 76 matches, suffered a rather unexpected defeat in their last battle. Although they haven't got a huge victory streak anymore, Imoco will now want to take into the court even stronger. On the other hand, Perugia is also hopeful of beating its opponent now.

The most anticipated encounter of the week in the Turkish Sultans League will be played between CEV Champions League Volley rookie THY Istanbul and Galatasaray HDI Sigorta.

In their first match in the Champions League, THY lost 3-0 to Igor Gorgonzola Novara, then suffered a surprise defeat in the league and failed 3-2 against Mert Grup Sigorta.

This season, Galatasaray is showing a quite successful performance and is currently one place above their opponent with three defeats in charts. Considering that the top three teams of the league have only two losses, the winner of this fight will not be cut off from the leadership race.

Dinamo Ak-Bars Kazan, one of the three representatives of Russia in the CEV Champions League Volley, will visit Dinamo Krasnodar in the ninth week.

Of course, winning this challenge is very important for the Kazan team, which is in second place with a single loss after the undefeated Lokomotiv Kaliningrad Region. On the other hand, Krasnodar lost to Kaliningrad and Dinamo Moscow consecutively and will want to beat the third CEV Champions League team they have faced in a row.

ASPTT Mulhouse VB, the only French team of CEV Champions League Volley, will host Pays d'Aix Venelles in the 12th round of French Ligue A. Having been defeated only once in 11 games so far, Mulhouse is in second place in the overall standings. Mulhouse will therefore expect both to win this match and Volero Le Cannet to lose points against Beziers Volley.
