This weekend, the volleyball action will continue with the domestic tournaments all over the continent, but the biggest games will be played in Belgium, where two #CLVolleyM squads will face off in the Belgian Cup, and in Italy since the powerhouses will play against each other.

Two CEV Champions League Volley clubs of the country, Greenyard Maaseik and Knack Roeselare will meet in the last 16 tour of the Belgian Cup. Roeselare side won the trophy five times in the last six editions, and without a doubt, they are the clear pre-favorite of this year as well. On the other hand, in their last national challenge, they failed to Menen in the fourth round of the Belgian Volley League, which made them stand in fourth place in the charts. Maaseik side, on the other hand, is currently in the vice-leader position, with a 3-1 winning record and a total of 9 points. The winner of the game will qualify for the quarterfinal, but the result will be also important for the psychological advantage.

The third round of the Italian SuperLega will also promise huge challenges: All three CEV Champions League Volley squads will meet strong opponents, which will surely affect the overall standings. One of them, Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia will visit Modena: These two teams are ranked consecutively in the overall standings, third and fourth respectively. Similarly, Allianz Milano also try to beat Itas Trentino, in order to improve their place in the charts and end the winning streak of their rival.

Mint Vero Volley Monza will have more important goals this weekend: After winning their first game with a score of 3-0, they lastly receive a failure against Piacenza in three sets. After the first two rounds, they are currently in the ninth position, a place which clearly needs to be improved. Therefore, in their next challenge against Cucine Lube Civitanova will be a good opportunity for them to show their strength and full power.

In Türkiye and Germany, no worries are expected for the #CLVolleyM teams: Halkbank Ankara will skip this weekend in the Turkish Efeler League, and Fenerbahce Medicana Istanbul will host Cizre Belediyespor, aiming for a straight-set victory. Likewise, Berlin Recycling Volleys, SVG Lüneburg, and Helios Grizzlys Giesen will play against relatively weaker opponents, and they do not want to let any surprises happen.

This weekend promises a relatively easy time for #CLVolleyM teams in Turkey and Germany, but the same cannot be said for Italy and Belgium. Maaseik and Roeselare will clash in the Belgian Cup, with a spot in the quarterfinals and psychological advantage at stake. In Italy, the most elite teams face tough challenges in the SuperLega, which will influence the standings.
