Kaziyski ‘the Emperor’ returns to Trento

That no. 1 TRENTINO Volley jersey kept in the wardrobe for the last five years can finally return on the shoulders of his (one and only) legitimate owner: Matey Kaziyski will wear it again!

The player who many associate with an amazing series of victories (both on the national and international stage) for TRENTINO Volley returns home. The thirty-six-year-old Bulgarian star player will be one of the spikers that will compose the roster of the team for the 2021-2022 season. Kaziyski and TRENTINO Volley have agreed on a two-year contract. This reinforces a strong relationship, to the extent that Matey continued to live in the city even in the years in which he chose to play elsewhere and often showed up around the BLM Group Arena simply to say hello.  

Matey helped TRENTINO claim as many as 15 titles – 12 in his capacity as team captain – and remains the top scorer (4,945 points) in the history of TRENTINO Volley. This makes him a legend for the club and the fans and you can be sure that Kaziyski wants to achieve more glory with ‘his’ team.
