OK Calcit KAMNIK clinches Men’s MEVZA League title

The culmination of the Men’s MEVZA League this past weekend brought forth a crescendo of excitement and anticipation as four teams battled it out for ultimate glory in the final stage of the annual zonal competition. In a thrilling final match, OK Calcit KAMNIK emerged victorious, thus seizing the coveted gold medal, and etching their name in the history books.
Facing off against their compatriots representing OK Merkur MARIBOR, OK Calcit KAMNIK delivered a stellar performance, showcasing their prowess and determination on the court. The match was a display of skill and strategy, with both teams leaving nothing to chance in their quest for victory. It was OK Calcit KAMNIK who ultimately prevailed, clinching the title with a hard-fought 3-1 victory. The sets ended at 25-17, 25-17, 23-25, and 25-15.
In the fight for the bronze medal, SK Zadruga AICH/DOB of Austria squared off against TJ Spartak MYJAVA of Slovakia. In a commanding display of skill and determination, SK Zadruga AICH/DOB emerged victorious with a convincing 3-0 win. The sets concluded at 25-23, 25-23, and 25-19.
