Avo Keel“After the first two sets, all tension was gone and it was pretty clear who was the better team here. We played a bit more relaxed in the third and fourth sets but when they brought everybody back in the fifth they were just better than us.”

The second match was similar to the first one - as Maccabi were clearly the better team in the first two sets, winning both by 25-15, thus securing their spot in the next round. After that, Maccabi sent substitutes to the court and the Estonian team changed their setter with Brazilian Jo Mauricio da Silva Neto leading them to win the next two sets. In the fifth, Maccabi put their top men back on court and took home a 15-10 win.
Markus Uuskari was the best scorer for PÄRNU VK with 21 points while Kevin Foyer had 16 for the winning side.
