PIACENZA travel to Spain on the back of four straight 3-0 in their national league

Middle blockers Robertlandy Simon and Gianluca Galassi will not be playing as they have remained in Italy due to physical problems.

Dante Boninfante, Gas Sales Bluenergy PIACENZA coach: “I expect a very tough match. We are facing a team that is doing very well in their league, as it is second in the standings and did well to beat the current league leaders in a head-to-head match. It may not have any great individual players, but it is a united group that makes very few mistakes. They will want to do well at home to put pressure on us for the return leg. I expect a heated atmosphere, so we need to take this match very seriously and have the right attitude on the court from the very first rallies. We are ready for this new European challenge. We are in good shape, we are on a roll and we want to continue on our path of continued and sustained growth.”
