With the event due to start in two months, the profile of this year’s CEV EuroVolley 2026 is further raised via the partnership with title sponsor Enel. The agreement was announced earlier today in Rome by CEV President Roko Sikirić during an event held at the Olympic Stadium attended by high-profile authorities such as Italy’s Minister of Youth and Sport, Andrea Abodi, and the Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests, Francesco Lollobrigida, as well as Italian National Olympic Committee President Luciano Buonfiglio. Francesca Gostinelli, President and CEO of Enel Italia, took the floor as well. The partnership covers the whole event organised across four countries – Italy, Bulgaria, Finland, and Romania, which will be reaching its climax this coming September 25-26 with the semis and medal matches in Milano.

Through this partnership, Enel enters the world of Volleyball as the first-ever title sponsor in the history of the CEV Men’s European Volleyball Championship. This represents the ideal opportunity to strengthen the company’s long-standing commitment to sport by promoting shared values such as determination, respect, teamwork, and environmental responsibility. These same values inspire Enel’s daily work and reflect the company’s approach to creating sustainable value for the communities it serves.

“I am utterly pleased that we have finalised this sponsorship agreement with a major company such as Enel, which is testament to the ever-growing commercial appeal of our flagship competition for national teams, the CEV EuroVolley. “Together we will raise the profile and quality of this competition to an even higher level and energise millions of fans from across Europe and even further beyond as they root for their favourite team and get inspired to chase their own dreams.”

The CEV EuroVolley Men has featured 24 teams since the 2019 edition. The event will get underway on September 9 even though the ‘official’ opening match is scheduled for the following day, September 10, when the national teams of Italy and Sweden will be playing open air at Piazza del Plebiscito in Napoli. The competition encompasses 72 matches across four countries – Italy (Napoli, Modena, Torino, and Milano), Bulgaria (Sofia), Finland (Tampere) and Romania (Cluj-Napoca). Poland are the reigning European champions following their success in 2023 in Roma when they beat Italy in the gold medal match.
