Milano, Italy, March 24, 2020. Like many other sports organisations and professional leagues these days, the Italian Women’s Volleyball League (Lega Volley Femminile, LVF) has developed an extensive programme to engage with fans who have to stay at home because of the coronavirus outbreak and confinement measures. Their #LVFvolley24 action started on Monday, providing, among other things, a linear broadcast and additional social media content to engage with fans from all over the world.
The aim of
#LVFvolley24 is to engage and entertain the fan base in this tough moment for Europe and especially for Italy, with a renewed, extensive content plan that covers the whole week. The linear channel will broadcast the best matches of LVF TV, the OTT platform launched by the Italian league back in 2015, as well as the most exciting games from the past and original content produced during these last few years.
The most engaging games from Women’s Serie A plus live interviews with players, a live quiz game with users, as well as instructions for a home workout provided by coaches and players. This is some of the content offered by LVF to Volleyball fans from Italy and across the globe. The fans will continue to live Volleyball in two different ways: through a linear channel available on
LVF TV and
YouTube with the best games, airing 24 hours a day, and original LIVE interviews and content distributed on the official
LVF Facebook page.
Every Monday, it is time for
MangiParty, where former Volleyball player and TV commentator Consuelo Mangifesta will interview a special guest asking questions previously received from the fans. On Tuesday, the programme features
Volley Quiz, a live game for real Volleyball fans testing their knowledge of the sport. Every Wednesday, players from Serie A1 and Serie A2 will be part of a live chat, sharing what they are experiencing in these challenging times for the whole of our society. On Thursdays, coaches and players will help the fans stay in shape with their tips for a special home workout.
LVFhomeAir will follow on Friday, distributing a compilation with the best Instagram stories from players and original content from the clubs. As for the weekend, the best games from the previous seasons will be available on Facebook Live: Saturday at 20:30 CET and Sunday at 17:00 CET. Make sure you tune in and enjoy Volleyball at its finest!
