Knack ROESELARE
- After two matches in their 35th European campaign, their 22nd campaign in the prestigious CEV Champions League Volley competition, Knack ROESELARE is ranked on the third place with three points in Pool A.
- Their first match against Ziraat Bank ANKARA ended in a thriller with a double 24-26 setscore (after 19-25 and 25-19) resulting in a 1-3 defeat.
- In their second match, Knack ROESELARE won the away-match against Olympiacos PIRAEUS with a 0-3 score (19-25, 20-25, 19-25).
- Their third opponent in Pool A, Grupa Azoty KEDZIERZYNH-KOZLE, the triple consecutive winner of the CEV Champions League since 2021, will be a tough nut to crack.
- Knack ROESELARE and Grupa Azoty KEDZIERZYN-KOZLE met each other already six times in the past. In the season 1997-1998 in the Confederation Cup and in the seasons 2013/14 and 2019/20 twice in the CEV Champions League. Both teams won three matches and lost three matches in these encounters.
- Assistant-coach Bram Van den hove: “Kedzierzyn-Kozle is a collection of Polish internationals completed with some foreigners who all belong to the national team in their country. Besides the middle blockers Dmitrii Pashitskii (Ukr), Andreas Takvam (Nor), Twan Wittenburg (Ned) and David Smith (USA), there is also libero Erik Thomas Shoji (USA). Kedzierzyn-Kozle is above all a very solid team, physically very strong and technically close to perfection (...). The strength of this Kedzierzyn is mainly that the burden of errors is kept very minimal. It will therefore be very difficult to perform stunts against this team."

Knack ROESELARE - Grupa Azoty KĘDZIERZYN-KOŹLE
- More than 1,700 spectators in the Tomabelhal were witness of a spectacular match between the Belgian and Polish champions of the last years.
- Zaksa Azoty KEDZIERZYN-KOZLE, triple consecutive winner of the Champions League in the past three years, took advantage of the mistakes of Knack ROESELARE at the end of set 1 to bring the score from 19-18 to 20-25.
- Knack ROESELARE reacted fiercely, leading with 14-8 halfway, and keeping the pressure on their opponent, resulting in a 25-21 score.
- Set 3 turned out to be a nail-biting thriller with both teams taking in turn the lead but Knack ROESELARE had enough with one setball to take this set (25-23).
- After taking set 4 with 22-25, set 5 had to decide about the winner. Zakza Azoty KEDZIERZYN-KOZLE increased their level and finally won the match with 2-3.
- Opposite Lukasz KACZMAREK was chosen MVP of the match, scoring 31 points for his team. Best scorer for Knack ROESELARE was Seppe ROTTIE with 26 points.
