Asseco Resovia RZESZÓW - TRENTINO Itas

• Volleyball fans expect an interesting meeting - there will be over 4,000 people in Podpromie Hall.
• There is a very good friend of the Rzeszów team in the Trentino team - Slovenian Jan Kozamernik has played for the Rzeszów team for the last two seasons.
• Asseco Resovia and Itas Trentino played 3 matches, in which the Italians were better. The first two encounters were in the 2010 edition of the CEV Champions League, and the most recent crossover is the match in the first phase of the 2018 Club World Championship, also played in Rzeszow on November 29, 2018 and won 3-0 by Trentino Itas with set results of 24-26, 23-25, 20-25.
• This is the fourteenth ever trip to Poland for Trentino Volley, the foreign nation visited the most times in the history of the Club; twenty matches were played, only five of which lost.
• In Rzeszow, TRENTINO Itas has played four official matches, winning all of them: on March 9, 2010 and Nov. 29, 2018 by 3-0 against the hosts; on Nov. 26, 2018 by 3-0 against the Iranians of Ardakan; and on Nov. 28, 2018 by 3-1 against the Brazilians of Sada Cruzeiro in two group stage matches of that year's Club World Championship.

Asseco Resovia RZESZÓW

• Asseco Resovia won the Polish PlusLiga match 3-2 on Monday and is in 3rd place in the table.
• Pre-match interview with Fabian Drzyzga: ,,Matches in the Champions League generate a little more adrenaline and a little more motivation, especially since one of the best teams in the world is coming, so I can't wait. You can't look at the fact that something hurts or that you're a little tired. I think every team has the same problems. (…) The coach has to manage our health well, so this is a challenge for him (…) Trentino isn’t a team that was created yesterday. It has a beautiful history and was once an unattainable band. (…) It is not without reason that they are the Italian Champions. They are the favorites in this match, so it's also something new for us, because usually we are the favorites in matches... so maybe it will be a little easier for us."

TRENTINO Itas

• This will be the 166th European match in the Club's history, the 126th ever in the Champions League.
• In total, there are twenty-five official matches played against teams from Poland by Trentino Volley, taking into account also the fourteen with Kedzierzyn-Kozle, the four challenges with Belchatow and the two with Czestochowa and Jastrzebski; the record is 18-7 for the yellow-blue team.
• Fabio Soli (Trentino Itas Head Coach): "In the summer, after the Drawing of Lots, I had imagined this as the most important away match of our first phase and I can confirm this impression now. Despite the home defeat suffered in the first round against Tours, Asseco Resovia is a strong team, which has a complete and talented roster. I'm sure they will put everything they have into play to reopen the run to the first place in the standings. We arrive at this match after a defeat in Modena which I hope could have been useful in making us understand how necessary it is to always maintain a very high level of attention. Wednesday's battle will certainly be an exciting one; we want to compete with determination to continue making positive progress in our growth path. Matches like these are the reason why it is a pleasure to play in the Champions League."
