- In the match played a few weeks ago in the Czech Republic, CIVITANOVA won 3-0 but the match was however very balanced in the first and third sets (25-22, 25-17, 25-23).
- In the last match of the Italian Super League, the team mentored by Gianlorenzo Blengini who 3-2 in Piacenza, and confirmed the 5th place in the stands of Regular Season, with one match still to go before the end of the 1st leg.
- ALEKSANDAR NIKOLOV (Cucine Lube CIVITANOVA): “The 3 wins in the first 3 games that we played won't make us lower our guard. I am sure that on Thursday we will enter the court with the right concentration because we know we are facing strong opponents, who perform a speed volleyball able to get us in trouble. We need to start the game with the right mindset, if possible even more focused than in the previous matches. In the first round in Prague it was like a strange match, I did not perform at my best and was substituted early. I definitely want to redeem myself in the return match against the Czech team, but what really matters is that Cucine Lube will win, to secure the leadership in Pool E”.
