- Cucine Lube CIVITANOVA defeats Greenyard MAASEIK 3-0, solidifying their definitive lead in Pool E of the Champions League, with a 5-1 win rate.

Instead, the Belgian team ends its campaign in the 4th Round of Europe's top club competition in third place, with 2 wins in 6 games played, the got the qualification to the next round of CEV Cup.
- The team coached by Gianlorenzo Blengini took the court without its starter Fabio Balaso: the popular libero, crowned World Champion with the Italian national team, in recent days lost his mother, so he was replaced by Francesco Bisotto, 21 years old, who after making his debut last Sunday in the Italian SuperLegue, also makes his first ever appearance in a Champions League match.
- After a balanced start (8-8), CIVITANOVA built gradually a big point difference in the first set (16-12, then 19-13) to open in their favour thanks to better performance in attack (54% of efficiency, only 38% for the guest team) as well as to the many point errors by Maaseik (11). The Italians won 25-18.
- Things did not change in the second as well as in the third sets, in which the home team outclassed their opponents in all aspects of the game. CIVITANOVA won the second 25-15, led by a great performance in attack (61% off efficiency, with Nikolov and Lagumdzija top scores (4 points). MAASEIK came back at the beginning of the third, but they could just play in balance until the 15-15. Then the home team built the decisive gap, till the final 25-19.
- Adis Lagumdzija (Cucine Lube CIVITANOVA) topped the charts for his team with 15 points, while the setter Luciano De Cecco was awarded as best player of the match.
