The 2025 Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour season is set to have a busy weekend in Europe as three Futures events will take place simultaneously on the continent from Thursday to Sunday, involving as many as 140 teams.

Ukrainian Valentyna Davidova and partner Anhelina Khmil will get on the sand in Sveti Vlas

The Czech capital Prague and the Bulgarian coastal town of Sveti Vlas will both have double-gender events over the weekend, while in Krakow, Poland, only the men will get on the court – the women’s tournament will be held next week. As many as 28 teams per gender will be in action in each location.

Olympians lead the way in Prague

In Prague, where the Beachklub Ládvi will be the venue, the biggest attractions of the women’s tournament will be two Olympians, who are ranked first and second in the main draw with their teammates. A Czech representative at the Paris 2024 Games, Marie-Sára Štochlová will defend the home country alongside new teammate Marketa Svozilova. Seeded second is German two-time Olympian Karla Borger, who won the Cervia Futures last month with Hanna-Marie Schieder.
