The 2025 Beach Volleyball season will include another eight Futures – further to those 15 already confirmed earlier this year (see here) – with an interesting mix of well-established locations and others where an event of this calibre will be taking place for the very first time.

Jurmala, Latvia, is very well-known to the Beach Volleyball community since major Beach Volleyball events have taken place on the shores of the Baltic Sea almost uninterruptedly since 2014, with highlights such as EuroBeachVolley in 2017 and 2020 and last year’s Beach Volley Nations Cup Finals. A double-gender event will be taking place from June 12-15 on the iconic Majori beach – where the local fans will be looking forward to witnessing the actions of reigning European champions Martins Plavins and Kristians Fokerots and many more high-profile teams.

After playing host to the second edition of the CEV Beach Volley European Cup last October, Montpellier will deliver yet another event with a double-gender Future scheduled for July 3-6 at the local Montpellier Beach Volley Club. For a few years, Montpellier did host a men’s-only stop of the World Tour / Beach Pro Tour – but this time high-level competition is guaranteed across both genders!

An international Beach Volleyball competition will be taking place for the fifth straight year in Leuven, Belgium, where men’s and women’s teams will compete between July 18 and 21 at the iconic Monseigneur Ladeuzeplein right in the heart of a city that is known for its academic heritage and the vibrant energy contributed by a large population of young students.

After an international event / stop of the Beach Pro Tour was held for the very first time in Estonia in early July of last year, namely in Rakvere, this time the competition moves to the Baltic country’s charming capital city, Tallinn, where teams from across Europe and further beyond will compete from August 13-16 on Freedom Square, the major meeting point for both local residents and tourists alike.

The remaining events confirmed by FIVB and CEV for later in the season are all well-established stops on the international calendar, starting with a double-gender event in Czechia’s second largest city, Brno, between August 21-24 at Sokolske Koupaliste, a venue that has played host to many age-group continental championships as well.

In early September, Warsaw will be hosting back-to-back single gender events with the men’s teams competing first (September 4-7) and the women following a week later (11-14), thereby following a format that has been in place since 2023. Finally, Balikesir in Türkiye will welcome the last event of the season from September 25-28, thus capitalising on last year’s premiere – which had followed the successful delivery of the inaugural Beach Volley European Cup in 2023.
