KOP Siget emerged in early August as the winners of the Croatian Beach Volleyball Club Championships, which concluded after completion of as many as 14 rounds. The final stage of the competition was held in Split. If they decide to register, KOP Siget will represent Croatia in the preliminary stage of the CEV Beach Volley European Cup 2025.

The domestic competition is known as HL-1, which stands for First Croatian Beach Volleyball League. It is played in a double round-robin format, where each club plays against every other twice, thereby accounting for as many as 14 rounds. The men’s and the women’s divisions featured eight clubs each and followed the same competition format. When playing against each other, clubs are represented by two pairs, with two matches counting towards the final result. If a club wins both matches, they secure two points for the standing – if they share wins, each club takes one point instead.

The last stage of the Croatian Beach Volleyball League was held at the newly renovated courts of KOP Žnjan, where KOP Siget secured the crown in both the men’s and women’s categories.

In the women’s division, KOP Siget confirmed its status as the event pre-favourite – despite competing with a slightly changed lineup, the senior team secured five wins from eight matches, thus solidifying their lead at the top of the table. The players of HAOK Žal Banjole claimed second place, while the bronze medal went to hosts KOP Žnjan.

In the men’s division, KOP Siget also had a clear goal, which they successfully achieved. They won six out of eight matches, thereby securing the championship title even with two rounds to spare. KOP Opatija finished in second place, while third place – just as in the women’s division – went to the hosts of the final stage, KOP Žnjan.

A total of 14 rounds and as many as 112 matches were played throughout the season. In both divisions, KOP Siget secured the championship title before the end of the league, thus further cementing their domestic supremacy.
