MKSH and Geghashen crowned Armenia’s Beach Volleyball club champions

This past June 14 to 16, the Volleyball Federation of Armenia (VFA) delivered with much success the 2024 edition of their Beach Volleyball Club Championships at the Khachik Asmaryan Beach Volleyball Academy in the city of Arzni. The competition featured as many as 10 men’s and 14 women’s teams and counted as a qualifier for the second edition of the CEV Beach Volley European Cup scheduled for later this year.  

As many as 43 matches were contested throughout the tournament and the majority ended with a 2-1 score, which is testament to the resilience and determination shown by all the participating teams. The final matches were closely fought as well. 

With an immaculate record in the competition, the MSKH team (Vahe/Karen) crowned themselves men’s champions, with Team IBT (Mikhail/Andre) securing second place and FIMA (Ashot/Yuri) completing the podium. 

In the women’s division, Team Geghashen from Kotayk Province (Arpi/Lusine) triumphed with second place going to the Academy Team (Milena/Elizaveta), and YSU (Ellen/Inga) settling for third place.

The top three teams in each gender were awarded with diplomas, medals and cups and the winners can look forward to representing Armenia in the CEV Beach Volley European Cup 2024.
