An event known as Summer Open ’25 #2 was held in early August in Lithuania to define which club would secure the right to represent the Baltic country in the 2025 edition of the CEV Beach Volley European Cup.
Three clubs were in contention in the final stage of the competition, namely Volley Lithuania, DAMJ Volley and Klaipeda Beach Volleyball Club (KBC) – Oxyklinika. Volley Lithuania and KBC Oxyklinika eventually advanced to the final, where the club from Klaipeda emerged victorious by claiming two wins to none for their opponents.
Oxyklinika will be making their second straight appearance in the CEV Beach Volley European Cup after last year they finished the competition held in Montpellier, France, in fifth place. Their roster includes some of Lithuania’s best Beach Volleyball players, such as Ieva Dumbauskaite, Gerda Grudzinskaite, Ariana Rudkovskaja, Urte Andriukaityte as well as Rugile Grudzinskaite and Skalve Krizanauskaite – all boasting a wealth of experience in international competitions.
