Teams from Andorra reign supreme at SCA Beach Volleyball Championships

This past Friday and Saturday Andorra hosted two days of competitive Beach Volleyball action through the delivery of the annual Small Countries Association (SCA) Championships. 

Teams from Andorra, Gibraltar, Liechtenstein, and Malta contested the men’s as well as the women’s tournaments. The matches were close throughout, but the strength of the home sides representing Andorra was obvious as they completed a clean sweep of the men’s podium. Moreover, Andorra emerged victorious from the women’s competition as well – with teams from Liechtenstein and Malta completing the top three. 

Andorra’s Minister of Social Affairs and Public Function, Trini Marín, and the President of the Andorran Volleyball Federation (FAV), Xavier Folguera, presented trophies to the top three teams.
