On Wednesday night, Bogdanka LUK Lublin won against Sporting CP Lisboa in the CEV Challenge Cup 2025 semi-final. They played the second leg and won 3-0 with set scores of 25-20, 25-22, and 25-20

Bogdanka LUK Lublin came onto the court with a clear purpose. From the very start . In the first set, they quickly found their rhythm and pulled ahead, winning 25-20. It was clear they weren’t going to take anything for granted.

The second set was more challenging, as Sporting CP Lisboa fought back with everything they had. They pushed Bogdanka, but the Polish team stayed calm and focused, winning the set 25-22. With that, they were just one set away from victory.

In the third set, Bogdanka was determined to finish strong. They played with precision and energy, closing out the set 25-20 and securing their spot in the CEV Challenge Cup final.

Maciej Zając's standout performance, earning the MVP title with 2 key kill blocks, 8 points, and a 75% winning spike rate, was crucial in Bogdanka's dominant victory. However, the win was a team effort, with every player contributing to the success. Despite Edson Alberto Valencia Gonzalez's strong performance for Sporting CP Lisboa, scoring 14 points and 14 winning spikes, Bogdanka's collective strength was too much, securing their place in the final.
