The first games of the second half of the #CLVolleyM group stage have been completed, and the most elite teams in Europe once again start to focus on their following domestic clashes. For many of them, this weekend will be relatively comfortable, except for BR Volleys and Giesen in Germany, since these two teams will face off, and Milano will take the court against Lube in Italy.

The most anticipated match will be held in Germany, between two CEV Champions League Volley contenders of the country, Berlin Recycling Volleys and Helios Grizzlys Giesen in the 13th round of the German 1. Bundesliga. BR Volleys side recently overpowered Belgium’s Greenyard Maaseik in four sets and strengthened their vice-leader position in Group A. They are also currently at the top of the national league's overall standings, holding a perfect winning record. Giesen, on the other hand, suffered their fourth defeat in Group B. With being in fifth position in Germany, they will definitely seek to improve their rank and close the gap with the top four positions. Therefore, both teams will put a great effort into the court this weekend, to prove their strength in the domestic competition.

Another big match will be played in Italy between two powerhouses, Allianz Milano and Cucine Lube Civitanova. The CEV Champions League Volley squad Milano side is currently placed in sixth position, having seven victories in the previous 12 matches. They lastly passed Tirol Innsbruck in Group C and kept chasing Zawiercie. The Lube side lastly participated in the FIVB Club World Championship and completed fourth. Even though they have a better track record than Milano in the Italian SuperLega, a three-point victory for Milano might have a significant change in charts. Thus, without a doubt, both teams will pay attention to this huge battle, and aim to complete the weekend with a victory.

All Polish #CLVolleyM teams, Jastrzebski Wegiel, Projekt Warszawa, and Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie kept their undefeated status in the most elite tournament of the continent and completed the fourth leg as leaders of their groups. This weekend, a relatively comfortable weekend awaits them, since all three of them will play against weaker opponents in the 17th round of the Polish PlusLiga. On the other hand, any shocking result will mean more than a loss, therefore, all of them should concentrate and play at their high level.

This weekend, the spotlight will be on Germany, where two #CLVolleyM participants, BR Volleys and Giesen face off in the biggest match, while Milano will take on Lube in Italy in a crucial battle for the standings. All eyes will be on how #CLVolleyM winners from the fourth leg perform in their domestic leagues.
