With the second leg of the #CLVolleyW quarterfinals completed, all four semifinalists of Europe’s most prestigious club competition have now been determined. However, there is little time to celebrate, as these elite teams must quickly shift their focus back to their domestic leagues, where crucial battles await this weekend.

In Italy, all three #CLVolleyW semifinalists, A. Carraro Imoco Volley Conegliano, Numia Vero Volley Milano, and Savino Del Bene Scandicci, are now looking to secure their spots in the Serie A1 semifinals as well. Conegliano, the undefeated regular season champion, will travel to Bergamo, a team they comfortably defeated in the first leg of the national quarterfinals. Conegliano also dominated Poland’s Developres Rzeszow in the #CLVolleyW quarterfinals with back-to-back 3-0 victories, proving their relentless form. With confidence running high, they will aim to wrap up the domestic series in a similar fashion and keep their flawless season intact.

Meanwhile, Milano and Scandicci are also in commanding positions heading into their quarterfinal rematches. Milano will take on Vallefoglia after an emphatic 3-0 victory over Eczacibasi in the CEV Champions League Volley quarterfinals. Similarly, Scandicci, who triumphed over PGE Grot Budowlani Lodz in straight sets, will face UYBA Busto Arsizio. Both teams already secured wins in their first domestic quarterfinal legs, giving them a strong advantage to move into the Serie A1 semifinals. However, with everything at stake, they must remain focused to avoid any surprises.

Over in Türkiye, VakifBank Istanbul will return to Sultanlar League action after an incredible comeback in the #CLVolleyW quarterfinals. In a thrilling match against Fenerbahce Medicana Istanbul, VakifBank fought back to force a golden set, which they won to secure their place among the top four in Europe. Now sitting third in the Sultanlar League standings, they will take on Besiktas in the 25th round, aiming to maintain their momentum and continue proving they are still a major title contender on all fronts.

With the CEV Champions League Volley semifinals now set, the focus momentarily shifts to domestic success. For these top clubs, this weekend is not just about progressing in their national leagues but also about keeping their form and confidence at the highest level as they prepare for their biggest European battles yet.
