This weekend, the club season has started for #CLVolleyW teams in Germany, Poland, and France with the final clashes for the national Super Cup. It was an important challenge for each team to show how they spent their summer, and Stuttgart, Bielsko-Biala, and Nantes definitely proved that they are ready by winning the first title of the season without any difficulties.

Two German CEV Champions League Volley squads faced off in the final battle for this year’s Super Cup. SSC Palmberg Schwerin actually started the fight quite well and took the 1-0 lead in sets; however, afterward, Allianz MTV Stuttgart began to play at their high level, and with a clear dominance, especially in the fourth set, they defended their Super Cup title.

Another Super Cup final took place in Poland, where #CLVolleyW participant BKS Bostik ZGO Bielsko-Biala met Lotto Chemik Police. In fact, a more difficult match was expected for the Bielsko-Biala side, but with a superior game from beginning to end, they beat Chemik Police in straight sets (3-0: 225-13, 25-16, 25-21) and stood at the top of the podium.

Julia Hewelt was the only player who scored in double digits (13) on the Chemik Police side.

Two French CEV Champions League Volley Women teams, Neptunes Nantes and Levallois Paris Saint Cloud, took the court against each other for the first Super Cup title in their histories. Being aware of this, both teams put a great effort throughout the immense battle.
