Cucine Lube Civitanova is ready to face the CEV Challenge Cup Semifinals

The stakes are extremely high in the CEV Challenge Cup Men as we reach the semifinals stage of the competition, any wrong step can prove quite costly.
Undefeated in this edition of the CEV Challenge Cup, Cucine Lube CIVITANOVA is playing in the competition for the second time in its history. On the previous occasion, during the 2010/2011 season, they won the trophy by defeating a Turkish team, Arkas IZMIR, in the two-legged final. In order to have a chance at lifting the trophy yet again, they will have to eliminate a Turkish team yet again.
In the second semifinal, Sporting Lisboa from Portugal, a team that has been enjoying successful participation in European club competitions, will try to overcome the challenge brought forward by Poland's Bogdanka LUK Lublin.
The returning leg of the semifinals is scheduled to take place two weeks later.
