London Giants set to host historic Volleyball Super League Live at Crystal Palace

In a landmark moment for Volleyball in the UK, the London Giants will host the first-ever Volleyball Super League Live event on Sunday, November 24, at the iconic Crystal Palace National Sports Centre. This pioneering initiative, launched by Volleyball England for the 2024/2025 season, aims to elevate the profile of Volleyball across the nation. With four Super League events planned in various cities this season, London’s debut will kickstart the new tradition.

The Super League Live event brings together multiple league teams in back-to-back games, creating a festival atmosphere for fans and players alike. Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, an historic venue known for hosting the inaugural National Olympian Games in 1866, will serve as a fitting stage for this historic moment.

The day promises an action-packed lineup and a welcoming community atmosphere, beginning with free taster sessions on several courts. These sessions, open to local children and adults alike, will provide a unique chance to try the sport and connect with the English Volleyball community. Following the taster sessions, competitive action will begin at 12:00 pm as the IBB Polonia team faces off against the Malory Eagles. The day’s final match between the London Giants and Richmond is set for 2:30 pm, giving fans the opportunity to watch four London-based Super League teams compete in one venue.
