Mladost stun OK GACKO in matchup between reigning national champions

The reigning national champions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, OK GACKO, and Croatia, Mladost ZAGREB, did lock horns on Wednesday night in a matchup scheduled for the 8th Finals of the women’s CEV Cup. 

Earlier this season, Mladost had contested the early rounds of the elite CEV Champions League, eventually failing to progress to the group stage. After a very entertaining match, Mladost ZAGREB recorded a comprehensive 3-0 victory (25-19, 25-10, 25-16). The return match scheduled for December 5 in Croatia’s capital city will define which team will be progressing to the quarterfinals and play there France’s LEVALLOIS PARIS Saint Cloud or THY ISTANBUL of Türkiye.
