While a relatively comfortable weekend awaits the #CLVolleyW participants in Türkiye and Italy, a big anticipated clash between Lodz and Rzeszow side in Poland will affect the standings.

The half season in Poland will end with a massive clash between two CEV Champions League Volley participants, where PGE Rysice Rzeszow and LKS Commercecon Lodz will face off. Both teams have nine victories in eleven matches in Tauron Liga, and Rzeszow is in the vice-leader position by being ahead of Lodz by just one more point.

Last week, Lodz side overpowered the other powerhouse, Grot Budowlani Lodz in straight sets, and they will surely want to continue their winning streak. Rzeszow side will also put great effort on the court, aiming to complete the first half of the regular season in second place. The result of the clash will not affect the leaders since Grupa Azoty Chemik Police have already secured the top position with only one failure.

Similarly, the first half of the regular season almost comes to an end in Türkiye, and the reigning CEV Champions League Volley titleholder VakifBank Istanbul will face Kuzeyboru in the only remaining fight.

Prior to their last clash, for now, the VakifBank side was in the third position with one loss, just like the other #CLVolleyW squads, Fenerbahce Opet Istanbul and Eczacibasi Dynavit Istanbul. Kuzeyboru, on the other hand, had a pretty impressive record in the Turkish Sultanlar League, and they are the closest follower of these three superpowers with nine victories in twelve matches.

Without a doubt, VakifBank will seek to receive another victory and increase the gap between the top three and the others, while the Kuzeyboru side will try to push their limits to get an unexpected but well-deserved victory.

Italian representatives of CEV Champions League Volley, Imoco Volley Conegliano, Vero Volley Milano, and Savino Del Bene Scandicci will also meet against relatively weaker opponents in the last week of the first half in Italy. The teams are standing in the first three places, respectively, and the goal is surely to leave the court without any surprising results.

The best teams in the continent will hold their last clashes in the first half of the regular season in their countries. We will all see what Rzeszow and Lodz will bring in the biggest clash of the weekend and what VakifBank will do in Türkiye against their closest follower.
