With two matches contested in Prostejov on consecutive days, the visitors from Hungary caught a very promising start to the first fixture, as they claimed the first as well as the second set (25-19, 25-23). However, with the third set, VK PROSTEJOV started playing more aggressively than they had done up until that moment and the Czechs took the third and fourth sets (25-19, 25-16) with ease. The Czechs continued to perform better than their rivals in the subsequent tiebreak as well where they combined strong spikes with good defence, which resulted in a comprehensive 15-6 win. The two teams have very little time to rest with the re-match following on Thursday – the result will define which one of these two sides will progress to the 8th Finals.
