Vucicevic confident Halkbank can reach #CEVChallengeCupM finals

Halkbank ANKARA Serbian opposite hitter Božidar Vucicevic believes that they will win any game as long as he and his teammates remain focussed. He is already looking forward to the CEV Challenge Cup semis with Greece’s Panathinaikos AC ATHENS.
“Our opponent is a very strong team and we respect them. Any team able to reach the semi-finals is definitely a strong team. We will host them in the best possible way in Ankara. I am confident that the match will be worth watching. If we play the way we know, we should not have any problems,” Vucicevic said. “Halkbank’s goal is to lift a European trophy. I believe that we will succeed and I invite our fans to take their places in the stands.”
Emphasising that the journey of Halkbank in the national league and in the Challenge Volleyball Cup is going as planned, he continued,
“This season has started extremely well for us. We will try to maintain this level until the end. The secret is hard work and good chemistry among the players.”
Stating that he did not know much about Halkbank and Turkish Volleyball before transferring to Turkey, he added, “I knew that Halkbank was a big club where not everyone can play. Moreover, as soon as I came to Turkey, I realised that there is a very high level of Volleyball and professional organisation here.”
