This past weekend, Bakuriani, Georgia played host to the first ever CEV U20 Snow Volleyball European Championships. Between 1-3 March, nine teams from seven countries (men) and ten teams from eight countries (women) took the opportunity to make history for a young sport with a lot of promise.

On the men's side, things were the other way around, this time Poland claiming Gold after defeating the Czech Republic in two sets with a dominant performance on the snowy court (0-2; 10-15, 6-15). In the Bronze Medal match, it was Türkiye again that prevailed, this time over Bulgaria in just two sets, but highly disputed (2-0; 15-13, 22-20).
