Sun and Snow at the 2022 CEV Snow Volleyball European Tour Kahramanmaraş

The first stop of the CEV Snow Volleyball European Tour in Kahramanmaraş - Turkey gave us three days of competition under the Turkish sun and the much awaited return of the snow tour.
Representing Russia in the women's final Olga Motrich, Adelya Akhmetova, Anna Saveleva, Olga Kozhadey defeated Czech rivals Anna Dostalova, Petra Safrankova, Jaraslova Macelova 2-0 to become the champion. Thus, Czechia came in second and Turkey Snow Volleyball A National Team came in third.
In the men's final match, the Russian team consisting of Vsevolod Bobrikov, Vladislav Mikhalev, Ruslan Bykanov, Yury Bogatov defeated the Ukrainian team consisting of Yurii Bokshan, Mykhalio Skukis, Maksym Kuzmin and Taras Sverediuk to become champions. In third place came yet another Russian representative.

As the Turkish Volleyball Federation, we plan to continue the European Snow Volleyball Tours for the next 2 years within the framework of a 3-year protocol and organize it here. We are proud that our women's national team came in third, but because we could not play in the final. It is a pleasure for us that 16 countries participate in the organization.”

The athletes of the Russian National Team, who became the champions in the women's category, said, “We left behind a very good tournament for our team. We would like to thank all the audience who supported us and did not leave us alone.”
Ruslan Bykanov conveyed his feelings and thoughts: “This was not our first tournament in Turkey, but I think it was the best. First of all, I want to thank my team, we wouldn't have won without them. I have a very good team. I was thinking of a medal at this tournament, but it's great that it's gold."
