Belgium beat Sweden to top the group in the Golden League

Both teams Belgium and Sweden spent the first set in a tight fight without letting go of each other even for a couple of points. Only at the end of the first segment did the yellow tigresses manage to take the lead and finish the set with a score of 25:22.

The Swedish team started the second set not very confidently, letting the opponents go ahead by a few points. Pretty soon the attack of the Swedes fell apart, as they could not cross the line of 7 points for a long time, when the Belgians already had 19 on their account. In this segment, the yellow tigresses scored 7 aces against 0 from the Swedes. The outcome of this set was already quite difficult to reverse, so the Belgian team calmly brought the matter to an end and the teams went on a break.

In the next set, the Swedish national team was able to take a leading position at the beginning of the set, although not for long, but they were able to take the lead, thereby showing that the third set would not be so easily given to rivals. And so it happened - with small steps, without letting go of their rivals, they got to 20 points, and as a result, the Swedish team won with a score of 25:20.

Having given up slack in the previous set, the Belgian team realized that it was impossible to relax in the fourth period. Quite quickly they doubled their advantage and while the Swedes crossed the line of 11 points, Belgium scored 20. Thus, the match ended in four sets with a total score of 3-1.
