Bulgaria first team to qualify for #EuroVolleyU17M final round

Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia, March 6, 2021. After three days of exciting competition at the sports hall named after basketball superstar Vlade Divac in Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia, Bulgaria secured their qualification for the final stage of the 2021 U17 Men’s European Championship.
On the last day of the 1st round / zonal qualifier organised by the Balkan Volleyball Association (BVA), Bulgaria routed hosts Serbia in three sets to claim first place in the tournament. Serbia finished second, followed by Turkey and Romania in third and fourth place, respectively.
Serbia, Turkey and Romania will have one more chance to make it to the U17 European Championship through the second round of qualifications scheduled for May. This year’s #EuroVolleyU17M is due to take place in Albania from July 10 to 18, with participation of 12 national teams. France are the defending champions after they won gold two years ago in Sofia.
