CEV delegation inspects venues and hotels for #EuroVolleyU17M in Montenegro

Earlier this week, a delegation from the CEV visited Montenegro and the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro (OSCG) to inspect the arenas and hotels that will be hosting the final round of #EuroVolleyU17M later this summer.

The CEV delegation had a productive time in Montenegro ahead of this year's #EuroVolleyU17M

The CEV delegation consisted of Zdeslav Barač, a member of the CEV Board of Administration and #EuroVolleyU17M Jury President, and Periklis Bakodimos, a member of the European Sports Organising Commission (ESOC) and of the event Jury as well. The guests were welcomed by Ivan Bošković, Secretary General of the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro, and Miloš Jovanović, Competitions Commissioner.

The CEV representatives, together with the hosts from the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro, visited the Verde Sports Complex as well as the University Sports Centre, the training hall of the high school in Golubovci, hotels voco Podgorica, Verde, and Philia, as well as the premises of the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro.

The fourth edition of #EuroVolleyU17M will be taking place in Podgorica from July 19 to 30, 2023 with participation of 16 teams. The matches will be played at the Verde Sports Complex and the University Sports Hall in Podgorica. The Drawing of Lots to determine the composition of the two preliminary pools was held on Wednesday in Luxembourg (click here for full results).
