The second playing day of the CEV U17 Volleyball European Championship 2022 - Women in Pool II at the Prostejov taraflex of the local National Sports Center was no less interesting and dramatic compared to the first.

The opening match this time belonged to the world volleyball powerhouses, at the same time the medal favourites. And Türkiye had a bit of an upper hand over Italy for most of the game's top-level clash. The key was that after losing a 14-9 lead in the opening set, it turned away four set points in a row to turn from 20-24 to 27-25. The second set belonged to the excellently serving and blocking Turks convincingly 25:20, but then the Italians increased their accuracy and aggressiveness and returned to the match. Both by winning the third part (21:25) and by taking a lightning lead 0:7 in the fourth. However, the rivals were able to rise from the slump to dominate the rest of the set 25:18, making the whole excellent battle 3:1.

The second Sunday duel had the clearest course of the entire tournament so far. From 7:7, Poland launched an enormous onslaught with all activities, which Finland was unable to counter at all. And the favored team dominated the opening two acts with the same result of 25:12. Even in the third part, the Polish women had a significant lead (10:4), but then relented and allowed the revived Finns to turn the score around to 12:13. However, despite the own mistakes of the girls in white jerseys, the finish was 25:22.

What about a bank holiday dernier? The fans of both teams once again increased the loudness of their encouragement to the maximum, the stormy atmosphere was more indicative of Slovenia. Although after his successful start (25:18) the further development of the encounter was like a swing.

The second part was won by a no less emotional Hungary 22:25, which then led in the third as well by 12:20. However, even such a lead was not enough, as Šiftar ruled with an excellent smashing serve (22 points in total). She was joined by the similarly striking Pucelj (26) and after an impressive turnaround to 25:23 there was nothing to solve, the Slovenians led the entire match to a 3:1 triumph.
