The 2021 edition of the EEVZA U18 Men’s Championship is due to run from November 22 to 29 at Gazprom Educational Sports Complex in the Armenian capital city, Yerevan. The state-of-the-art complex guarantees the organisation and delivery of a competition of the highest standards.

The Volleyball Federation of Armenia (VFA) has been working very hard to host the event featuring the national teams of seven EEVZA member countries – Armenia, Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Russia and Ukraine. On Sunday, November 21, the seven teams had the chance to practice at the very same arena to fine tune their preparations before the competition gets underway on Monday with a busy programme of three matches a day. Armenia and Belarus will lock horns in the tournament opener scheduled for 2 pm local time in Yerevan.

Live streaming of all matches will be available for fans to follow their favourite teams and the organisers hope that a large number of spectators will watch the games on site too. The championship has aroused great interest among young Volleyball players and coaches, which will have an opportunity to watch high-quality games.

The Government of the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture, and the Armenian Olympic Committee attach great importance to the championship. In 2018, VFA held such a championship in Yerevan for the first time, and this year it is ready to deliver the same event at even higher standards, while making sure the participants can perform to the best of their abilities and will return home with fond memories from their stay in Armenia.

The winners of this zonal event will qualify for the Final Round of next year’s #EuroVolleyU18M in Georgia.
