15 matches are scheduled this weekend in the CEV Volleyball European Silver League 2025 Men and in the CEV Volleyball European Silver League 2025 Women, with the latter competition seeing its league round conclude.
In the CEV Volleyball European Silver League 2025 Women, three tournaments are due to take place in Luxembourg, in Strumica, North Macedonia and Amstetten, Austria. Two teams – Switzerland and Latvia – are unbeaten so far, followed by Austria, which have three wins and one loss.
Switzerland, Latvia and Austria will all meet in the tournament hosted in Amstetten, Austria, with the top two sides in the final standings progressing to the final. So far, Switzerland have won all their matches in straight sets, dominating Luxembourg, North Macedonia, Iceland and Israel.
The second-placed side, Latvia, have won all their matches, dropping two sets so far, while Austria lost a match, but can still make it to the final, provided they win their last two matches on the home court.
With Israel, North Macedonia and Georgia as the other teams staying on two wins and two losses so far, their path towards the final – where the top two teams in the league round are due to qualify – is virtually impossible.
Luxembourg and the Faroe Islands, which will face off in Luxembourg, are the only teams still searching for a win, yet one of them will surely have one win under their belt at the end of the week.
