The CEV Volleyball European Golden League 2025 Men returns for its third week of competition to four venues throughout Europe, with four teams – Finland, Greece, Romania and Israel - boasting a perfect record of four wins in four matches.

The top three teams will qualify for the Final Four, which will be held in the Czechia on 5 and 6 July, with the hosts being already qualified, as they currently sit fifth in the standings, with two wins and two losses.

The four tournaments are scheduled to take place in Strumica, North Macedonia, in Lugo, Spain, in Nokia, Finland, and in Kutna Hora, Czechia, with only two of the unbeaten teams facing off, as Finland take on Greece on Thursday, 19 June, in a battle which will decide one of the qualified teams in the Final Four.

Israel, which are currently sitting fourth in the standings, with 11 points, one less than Finland and Greece, are facing North Macedonia (1-3) and Montenegro (0-4) in Strumica, North Macedonia, with both teams fighting to avoid relegation to the Silver League.

But the biggest battle of all will be the one between Greece and Finland, two teams which are still eyeing their maiden title in the CEV Volleyball European Golden League 2025 Men. Finland played their only final in 2005, losing against Russia, while Greece featured in the final in 2014, conceding the title against Montenegro.

In this edition, the two sides are the only ones which have secured 12 points so far, with Finland conceding only one set so far, while Greece conceded three sets, one each against Spain, Portugal and Latvia.

Lurking around is also Romania, which have 11 points, but they are due to face some strong opposition from hosts Czechia in Kutna Hora, while Portugal are also looking to boost their credentials, after winning a single match and conceding three losses.

Romania have made the Final Four only twice, in 2010 and 2011, finishing fourth both times, therefore they can break a 14-year wait for a place between the top four teams in the CEV Volleyball European Golden League Men.
