•    Middle Blockers: Karmena Struka (RSU/MSĢ), Anna Rīta (Coastal Carolina University/USA), Junora Vagele (Pexinois Niort/France), and Marta Beatrise Gintere (RVS/LU)
•    Opposite Hitter: Marta Kamēlija Levinska (Dresdner SC/Germany)
•    Outside Hitters: Paula Nikola Ņečiporuka (Vallecamonica Sebino Costa Volpino/Italy), Katrīna Struka (RSU/MSĢ), Anija Jurdža (Olimpico Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain), Šarlote Šlitere and Rūta Putene (both RVS/LU)

Following their silver medal in the CEV Silver League 2025, where they lost to Switzerland in home and away final matches, Latvia defeated Denmark in a friendly match 3-1 (25-21, 25-21, 23-25, 25-19). The teams also played a match behind closed doors without any spectators. In Tallinn, they beat Estonia in an official friendly match 3-2 (22-25, 25-21, 25-22, 25-27, 15-13), followed by a closed-door match won 3-1 (23-25, 25-19, 25-22, 26-24), with Estonia taking the extra set 25-19.

Latvia’s head coach Daniele Mario Capriotti is supported by coaches Inguna Minusa and Arvils Keišs, analysts/statisticians Mareks Maksimovs and Vladimirs Visockis, strength and conditioning coach Roni Antero Rekola, physiotherapist Luisa Dombrovska, and team manager Kristaps Čerņavskis.

This is the second batch of CEV EuroVolley 2026 qualifiers after the matches previously played in the summer of 2024. Last year, Latvia beat Montenegro 3-2 and enjoyed a walkover 3-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina since the Balkan team forfeited their home match. The CEV EuroVolley 2026, featuring 24 teams, will be held in Türkiye, Czechia, Azerbaijan, and Sweden.
