The members of the U19 women’s and U20 men’s national teams of Montenegro have come together at VOCO hotel in the country’s capital, Podgorica, where they will be staying as they prepare for their respective European Championship qualifiers coming up late next week.
Head coach Predrag Corluka together with his assistants Mladen Miladinovic and Mirko Radevic compose the staff for the men’s U20 national team. Team Montenegro will be playing their rivals from Norway, Finland and Slovakia from April 8-10 at the Verde Sports Complex in Podgorica for a spot in the final stage of the U20 Men European Championship scheduled for later this summer in Italy.
The following players have joined the camp in Podgorica:

The U19 women’s national team coached by Zlatko Cacic and his assistants Ivica Scekic and Marko Joksimovic features in a three-team group together with Bosnia and Herzegovina and Switzerland. Their European qualifier will run from April 7-9 in Sarajevo (BIH).
“I am glad that we managed to gather after a difficult period. We now have the European Championship qualifier in Sarajevo with matches against the national teams of Switzerland and Bosnia and Herzegovina. As it is already known, the national team of Belarus will not participate in this tournament, which makes this group extremely interesting, although it is too early to talk about expectations because we do not know much about the opponents. In this short period, we will try to prepare as best we can for the duels ahead of us, and we can rely on the positive circumstance that the girls are already in a very competitive rhythm. We shall stress that there has been one major change to the original list of players. Majda Cakar cannot participate in this tournament because of health problems, and she will probably be out of the training process for a couple of months. Therefore, I decided, in consultation with my staff, to give a chance to Kristina Gazdic from Rudar Pljevlja,” says Cacic.
The roster includes the following players:
Setters: Andrea Krgovic (Jedinstvo), Stasa Krivokapic (Galeb Liko Soho Group)
Outside spikers / Opposites: Natalija Vlaovic (Galeb Liko Soho Group), Anastasija Andjelic (Akademija), Gordana Madzgalj (Jedinstvo), Lara Jovovic (Morača), Sanja Rudan (Morača), Teodora Leovac (Rudar), Kristina Bozovic (Akademija), Kristina Gazdic (Rudar)
Middle blockers: Masa Dragojevic (Galeb Liko Soho Group), Mia Raznatovic (Luka Bar), Isidora Jevric (Jedinstvo), Aleksandra Davidovic (Akademija)
Liberos: Milica Velickovic (Jedinstvo), Ksenija Krunic (Akademija)
