Poland emerged victorious from the 2022 edition of the EEVZA U17 Men’s Championships, which concluded on December 6 in the Georgian city of Gori, thereby securing their participation in the Final Round of next year’s #EuroVolleyU17M in Montenegro. Six teams contested the tournament in Gori, where Poland claimed top honours, with Ukraine and Estonia finishing in second and third place, respectively. Latvia, hosts Georgia, and Azerbaijan complete the standing in fourth, fifth, and sixth place. The teams ranked from second to fifth will continue their journey in the second round of European qualifications scheduled for the spring of 2023.

With valuable experience coming from hosting the final stage of this year’s #EuroVolleyU18M in Tbilisi, the Georgian Volleyball Federation worked hard to deliver a successful event for the stars in the making from six EEVZA countries. The leadership of the Georgian Volleyball Federation takes the organisation of such events very seriously and regards it as an opportunity to gain further experience to come forward with even more ambitious plans for the years to come.

The event ended with a medal ceremony, where not only the top three teams received medals and cups, but the organisers awarded the top players from the competition and each team as well. The Georgian Volleyball Federation hopes everyone had a good time in Gori and wishes all teams the best of luck for the next stage of the #EuroVolleyU17M qualifying process!
