Slovenia book ticket to #EuroVolleyU18M Final Round

Slovenia, who are the reigning U17 European champions, have secured their participation in this year’s #EuroVolleyU18M after emerging victorious from the MEVZA qualifier held in Maribor, where they beat Austria 3-1 in the final match. Earlier in the competition, Slovenia had lost to Austria but beaten their opponents from Hungary and Croatia in the previous stage of the tournament.

By beating Austria in the final, Slovenia have booked their ticket to the #EuroVolleyU18M Final Round, which is due to take place in Georgia later this summer (July 9-17). The teams finishing second to fifth will have another chance at reaching the Final Round through the second and last round of qualifications scheduled for April.
