Slovenia complete sensational comeback to qualify for #EuroVolleyU18M

The annual MEVZA U18 men’s championship finished on Saturday in Zadar with Slovenia emerging as the eventual winners to qualify for the Final Round of this year’s #EuroVolleyU18M in Bulgaria. In a thrilling and dramatic final match, Slovenia managed to come back from two sets down to edge Czechia at the tiebreak after turning the course of the match. 

Earlier on Saturday, Israel took the bronze medal in yet another thrilling match where they took a 3-2 win over Austria. Czechia, Israel, Austria, Croatia, and Hungary will continue their journey in the second-round qualifiers scheduled for this coming April. 

The rising stars from across the MEVZA region will now be returning to their clubs and resume their duties in domestic competitions.
