Stellar Semi-Finalists Lineup at the EuroVolleyW U22

The semi-finals of the CEV EuroVolley U22 Women are just a day away and some of the biggest volleyball nations in the world have booked their place amongst the best four teams of the continent.
Following highly disputed matches in the two pools of the final round taking place in Lecce, Italy, the host nation Italy raised to the top of Pool I, with the decisive victory for the pool standing coming against Türkiye in straight sets. From Pool II, Serbia goes into the semis as pool winners without losing a single set, with Poland joining them from the second position.
Türkiye's Aleksia Karutasu has been very impressive in the tournament so far, managing 54 points in just 3 matches (6 pts/set average), with the closest player still in the tournament being Poland's Karolina Staniszewska with 38 points, currently third best scorer.
The Bronze and Gold Medal matches are schedule to take place on Saturday, 6th July.
