Sweden has been crowned champions of the 2025 Men’s CEV European Silver League after holding off a strong Hungarian comeback in the second leg of the final.

The match kicked off with Sweden asserting their dominance, taking the first set 25–17 with ease. Their block defense was particularly sharp, recording five kill blocks that set the tone for the opening set.

However, Hungary responded with grit. They bounced back to win the second and third sets consecutively, becoming the first team to take two sets in a row off Sweden in the competition. It was a proud moment for the Hungarians, who showed resilience throughout the match.

This marks Hungary’s second Silver League final appearance in three years. Though they fell short of the title, their journey and fighting spirit stood out once again in the competition.

Sweden’s Viktor Lindberg was named MVP of the match after delivering a stellar performance with 17 points.

Congratulations to Sweden, Champions of the 2025 CEV European Silver League Men!
