Young ‘Oranjes’ complete clean sweep to qualify for #EuroVolleyU22M

On Sunday, the Netherlands beat Kosovo 3-0 (25-17, 25-19, 25-15) to claim their third straight victory in Pristina and secure their participation in the inaugural #EuroVolleyU22M. The home side delivered more of a decent performance, doing so especially in the first and second sets, but the young ‘Oranjes’ eventually imposed their quality to complete the tournament with an impeccable record of three wins in as many matches.

Kosovo says goodbye to these qualifiers with three losses, but taking many good lessons that the young players from the Balkan country will be able to capitalise on in the coming years.

In the other match of the day, Slovakia routed Azerbaijan 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 25-13) as well to finish second in the final standing on two wins and six points.
